DARWIN AUSTRALIA - Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) F-16 pilot, Captain Pnrb Jaka "Draco" Arastya, is entrusted with leading the Large Force Employment (LFE) mission at the Pitch Black 2022 exercise held at RAAF Base Darwin Australia, Tuesday (06 /09/2022).

Mission Commander this time held an Offensive Counter Air/Strike Dynamic Target (OCA/STK DT) scenario where participants were divided into two teams, namely Blue Force and Red Force.
Mission Commander LFE is in charge of organizing all missions and synergizing with all elements who are members of the Blue Force with 52 aircraft to carry out attacks on enemy territory, destroy strategic targets, Hanud systems, and other military components in the air and land.
In the training scenario, the Blue Force consists of five elements, namely escort or bodyguard, striker or attacker, dynamic target or dynamic target), SEAD or Destroyer of Opposing Air Defenses, and Tactical Airlift.
The Blue Force consisted of four SU-30s from India (IAF), four Singaporean F-15s (RSAF), two French Rafales (AAE), four British FGR 4s (RAF), four Korean F-16s (ROKAF), eight F - Australian 35A (RAAF), four Singaporean F-16s (RSAF), four Japanese F-2s (JASDF), two German Eurofighters (GAF), two RAAF EA 18 “Growlers”, one New Caledonian CN-235 (FANC), two KC 30A RAAF and two MRTTs from Canada and Korea.
On the other hand, the Red Force is led by the Mission Commander of the RAAF with a force of 27 aircraft tasked with defending the area from Blue Force attacks.
